Some physician services are not covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP). These services are often referred to as “uninsured services” and include services such as prescription refills

over the phone/by fax, sick notes for work, the copy and transfer of medical records, the completion of insurance and/or medical forms, and a number of medical procedures.
